We are now looking for a Specialist, Trade Operations EMEA to join our EMEA Logistics Sourcing and Operations team. The role will contribute to Kemira’s growth and profitability strategy by ensuring border crossing trade operational compliance and through efficient import / export processes impacting to Kemira’s cost efficiency and on-time deliveries
The selected person reports to Manager, Brokerage Sourcing and Trade Operations and is a key player in this newly established team. This is a permanent position
The key tasks for the role include managing import and export process together with internal stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance on operational level, optimizing duties and customs brokerage operations and managing the preferential trade operations such as verifications and certifications. The selected person also provides training and guidance to internal stakeholders on the relevant international trade topics such as import / export processes and documentation. In close collaboration with GTC (global trade compliance) the role participates also to sanctions parties screening and other regulatory implementations. The role manages the customs brokers in EMEA operationally together with the customs brokerage sourcing manager, ensuring their compliance and performance to Kemira standard KPIs. The role also participates to development projects and identifies & initiates change in own responsibility area
