Be responsible for servicing our long-standing customers in Europe. You will answer their questions, manage their purchase orders and ensure their satisfaction with our service. Through this, you’ll have a strong influence on the relationship that we have with our customers which is crucial for our success as a company
Cooperate with internal departments of MM Group, you’ll become knowledgeable in logistics processes such as demand, production, and transportation planning
Learn about pricing, sales and marketing-related processes in order to successfully manage your customer accounts
Have the opportunity to use your analytical skills
Provide research and support to the purchasing category management team
Obtain data/information as requested by the team from a variety of sources
Prepare spend, price benchmarking and other analyses based on variety of sources, including systems used in IP (SAP, Business Warehouse, Sharepoint etc.), governmental indexes and a broad array of public sources
Be responsible for providing insights on category spend and savings opportunities based on spend analysis and experience working with other category teams
Create and refine cost models for sourced goods/services (‘clean sheet’)
Provide information and analyses to support negotiations with suppliers
Occasionally take part in the meetings and negotiations with suppliers
Assist in developing savings tracking approach for purchasing category
Perform financial analysis on key suppliers to determine financial wherewithal, cost drivers, opportunities
Analyze macro-economic data as required to develop supply market
Evaluate project opportunities and determine financial impacts over time
Prepare spreadsheets, summaries and graphical analyses to assist the team as needed
Work closely with the procurement category management team to dissect information and provide it to other team members to deliver greater insight to market opportunities
Be responsible for data analysis and compliance reporting
Support other special procurement activities and analyses as needed
Achieve agreed delivery to customers, whilst remaining aligned with the cost reduction goals of department
Support the continuous and efficient operations of MM Customer Service and mills Warehouse Department
Plan loads and dispatch data in the internal system, ensuring accuracy of data and timelines, schedule and monitor all dispatches for the mill in Kwidzyn
Support all parties involved in the load planning activities, in order to maximize truck loading capacity utilization
Ensure an effective information flow between external customers, Customer Service, Paper Mill Warehouse and Transport Service Providers
Coordinate daily activities and workload of the customer service team to ensure the highest level of service to customers and internal departments
Execute creation of the new team that will be responsible for products manufactured in Kotkamills and shipped to European customers
Be responsible for creating and executing performance and development plans of team members
Work closely with team members, internal departments, customers and sales to identify and implement ways to improve business processes and team’s performance
Act as a team resource to resolve service issues escalated from team members, internal departments, sales and customers, identifying root causes and introducing corrective solutions
Actively represent the team during key business meetings with Sales and other internal departments
Work effectively with other leaders to identify and share best practices within Supply Chain Organization
Work closely with Supply Chain management on key initiatives and assist in taking strategic decisions regarding objectives settings, team development planning and performance assessment
