For a global company, headquartered in London, which is developing, manufacturing and selling mining, ground-control products and infrastructure equipment and services to their well-established customer base in the mining industry, we are looking for an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager having a proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing the delivery of IT Services provided by external partners and internal IT with strong supplier management, leadership mentality, a consulting oriented working model and with business and technical skills to challenge and drive the group IT services
You will assure their long term competitiveness by managing IT services for their business. You will oversee a number of key contracts and functions within the IT department that enable the delivery of a high-quality service to end users, and to ensure ITIL Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs. You will also oversee the delivery of IT Services within the group
In the role of a IT Service Delivery Manager, you will:
- Monitor, control, manage and support Service Delivery ensuring systems and procedures are in place and followed;
- Drive quality and improvement of the IT Services linked with the KPI’s defined within the SLAs of the underpinning contracts with third party providers;
- Work closely with all providers to improve the cost, quality and performance of services provided, particularly paying attention to value delivered;
- Track of any missed SLA’s and KPI’s in order to implement SIP activities and where necessary invoke contractual penalty clauses;
- Drive Service Delivery meetings with IT providers covering performance, service improvement, security requirements, value and other ITSM processes;
- Assess customer feedback and instigate process improvements accordingly in order to ensure that excellent client experience is provided at all times;
- Act as an ambassador for IT, working across the business to provide effective communication on IT matters and build collaborative relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments;
- Establish and measure IT delivery processes and help in the creation of Service Level Agreements, Operational Level Agreements and experience level agreements as required;
- Act as an escalation point and take responsibility for governance and compliance management;
- Create monthly Service Delivery reports for the group
