In scope of responsibility of Schaeffler Lifetime Solutions Sales Engineer will be our product portfolio for machines condition monitoring, rolling bearings lubrication, mounting tools and related industrial services
Active solution and product sales independent from the sales channel
Development of new accounts, farming of existing accounts and projects, active acquisition of new business
The role owner’s tasks are to build strong relationships with the customer and establish Schaeffler as the preferred technical partner with the right portfolio of products and services
Coordination with Account Owners and with Partner Managers on Distribution End User activities
Visits to Schaeffler end customers
Common customer visits with the Schaeffler Partners adhering to legal requirements
Support the decisions in price and contract negotiations within framework of relevant approval guidelines
Technical and training support of customers and partners (including basic mechanical and electrical assembly works needed for products commissioning)
Steering and responsibility for customer satisfaction
Documentation of market potentials, opportunities, customer contacts and all activities in CRM
• Leading the area marketing team and ensure employee development, management, and retention
• Coordinating all local marketing tasks
• Participating in regional projects
• Developing and implementing integrated marketing communications
• Leading and coordinating planning and reporting
• Implementing communication measures and KPI implementation incl. reporting
• Ensuring communication flow within the area marketing team and between area and regional functions
• Implementing and coordinating area-dedicated tasks and projects led by Marketing Europe teams
Local Marketing Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing integrated local marketing and communication strategy based on regional AAM strategy
• Responsibility for planning and steering the budgets
• Planning and executing of marketing activities within area of responsibility and dedicated markets and customers
• Working close with Sales, Technical Services and Product management teams enabling them to meet their commercial objectives and to ensure that marketing and sales activities are coordinated
• Working closely with Product, Digital, Regional and Central Marketing teams to define marketing materials and programs, development of marketing tools based on the product related content
• Initiating and implement marketing projects that offer the highest cost-benefit ratio as part of the company goals
• Undertaking continuous analysis of competitive environment, market development and consumer trends
• Ensuring compliance and corporate Governance with regard to laws, guidelines and standards within the area of responsibility
• Maintaining effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed about marketing objectives
