You will therefore join our Quality Control department
• Key Tasks
• Perform chemical analysis on raw materials and finished products, especially:
• Provide analysis, support and troubleshooting with wet chemistry techniques, titration, ICP-MS, FTIR, AA, TGA, IC, and particle size analysis;
• Perform routine sample processing for required analytical methods;
• Perform critical interpretation of analytical data;
• Analyze information for technical correctness and accuracy;
• Maintain working knowledge of instrumentation, equipment and scientific methodologies necessary to perform assigned task;
• Perform assigned tasks carefully and on schedule according to standard operating procedure and supervisor’s instructions;
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment free of safety hazards;

Coordinate with overseas vendors to manage import activities in order to meet service level expectations
Develop and implement supply chain strategy for international business expansions
Assist in managing shipment and custom activities for import services
Maintain good relationship with vendors and service providers to improve overall business performance
Work with vendors to identify and eliminate logistics obstacles to ensure safe and timely shipping of products
Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) and scheduling/shipping practices for efficiently carrying out logistics activities
Negotiate sea and air freight quotes with carriers in conjunction with USA location
Inform cost changes (freight / duties, etc), shipment issues, supply concerns to respective personnel and team in timely manner
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, raw material flow improvement, and inventory control
Inventory control / Review customer orders to determine items to be stocked and shipped
Create and maintain detailed financial reporting together with Finance team on all import activities including order management, logistics and shipping
Ensure that logistics system is operated in accordance with local (EU) and International customs laws
Ensure that logistics activities are in compliance with International Customs and Border Protection regulations
Recruit, lead, coach and train staff in general logistics development and shipping processes
