Direct management for our People Administrator and Office Manager in Poland
Liaise with our accountant monthly regarding salaries and invoices
Control office spend for entertainment and supplies
Recruit technical candidates to be based in Poland with follow through to on-boarding
Work hard to support the integration of an 'employee experience first' approach to all employee initiatives, including surveys, polls and feedback channels
Raise the external profile of Vizlib, working alongside Marketing in the UK to build our Employer Branding
Review and update Vizlib Poland policies as appropriate
Liaise with the rest of the Human Resources team to ensure that Poland based People Team admin is kept up-to-date and consistent
Communicate important key messages to employees as appropriate, ensuring that internal communications in Poland are consistent with the rest of Vizlib
Helping to coordinate and communicate cross-team and location activities, e.g. CSR, security training, business continuity risk plans, revising employee handbooks (for different entities), events, training, new internal technology/app launches, other new initiatives

The Role

This is a very busy, varied and impactful role. You will have great exposure to the full range of HR functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has proven success in HR and recruitment to develop further and learn a lot while having some fun along the way. You will be supporting, coaching and developing the existing team of top talent to reach for the stars and also find the best new hires to grow, complement and enhance the team to rocket Vizlib Poland to the next level
As well as being highly tech-savvy (HRIS, Google workspace, slack and more), a great organiser and someone who communicates empathetically and clearly with colleagues at all levels, we are looking for commitment, agility, willingness to learn and a great team player
Based in Poznań, you’ll have a specific focus on the Polish team (also based in Łódź and with a few other fledgling locations planned) but also looking to grow the development department in new cities and locations in and beyond Poland). Working alongside the local and London based HR and People and Leadership team, you’ll be:
Responsible for:
Improving the new starter experience, from offers, to keeping in touch until their first day, scheduling induction and onboarding to include buddying, HR orientation, 2-week check-ins, supporting goal setting, 3 month reviews
Supporting and encouraging feedback, 1-2-1’s, check-ins and performance review activity
Improving the professional development activity from goal setting, feedback, reviews, career progression and training (inc. workshops and leadership development)
Coordinating improvement projects and implementing new initiatives
Living and championing our culture and values
Looking after people’s wellbeing - Health and safety, employee engagement and happiness
Supporting:
Helping us hire better and faster - ensuring the talent pipeline is healthy with top talent by searching/headhunting candidates, identifying and running events, finding new agencies and recruitment partners, defining hiring processes and shaping stages (inc. assessments), interviewing, giving feedback, optimising our ATS and candidate experience
Expanding and improving employer branding - devising and creating exciting, interesting and attractive stories, videos, material, running impactful campaigns and social media touch points to increase the awareness of Vizlib and the great things we are doing as an employer of choice to ensure the ongoing healthy hiring pipeline
Updating the HRIS and ensuring that all employee's career profiles, development logs and other data is complete and up to date
