As a Field Service Technician, you will be required to develop a detailed knowledge of wind turbines to enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field service-related tasks. You will be responsible for:
Electrical and mechanical operations - also covering installation and commissioning activities, usage of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control, and creating follow-up orders
You will work with high voltage
Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of technicians working throughout the region
Other responsibilities will be to carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with our client specifications together with component replacement (both electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic) and troubleshooting on the systems

Lead the application of ANSYS® FEM simulations to analyze and optimize mechanical and structural aspects of products during the early development stages
Collaborate with design and innovation teams to understand product concepts, propose FEM simulation strategies, and guide design iterations
Utilize FEM software for geometry preparation, mesh generation, material property assignment, and boundary conditions setup
Conduct detailed structural analyses, interpret simulation results, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product performance and reliability
Explore innovative approaches to simulate and validate proof of concepts, pushing the envelope of what's feasible in early-stage product development
Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to integrate FEM simulations into a holistic product development framework
Stay updated on the latest advancements in FEM techniques, tools, and industry best practices, and apply them to real-world challenges
Contribute to the development of simulation methodologies, workflows, and guidelines tailored for early-stage product development
Clearly communicate technical findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports
define and establish processes in BU2 (OR) Customer Engineering aiming to follow System Engineering best practices (e.g. INCOSE and DS/ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015),
participate in cross-functional groups to ensure continuous improvements of existing systems such as ERP system, SharePoint, FMEA, APQP4Wind etc.,
participate in scoping and implementation of larger projects, such as PLM systems and CAD drawing tools,
ensure ideas are captured and evaluated according to safety, quality, cost, time and customer fit,
ensure only ideas with a high impact is implemented and anchored in the organization,
ensure relevant stakeholders (including customers) are involved and informed about new improvements,
ensure the New Product Development (NPD) process is fit-to-purpose
