As Chief Engineer, you are responsible for the effective management of all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including energy conservation. You are also responsible for the development of the Engineering Team and staying abreast of compliance regulations and procedures in the field of Engineering, as required for hotel standards. Specifically, a Chief Engineer will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules
Communicate with Housekeeping to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for Guest rooms and public areas
Develop systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of Guests and Team Members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property
Communicate with Government agencies to ensure full compliance with statutory regulations
Prepare Capital and Repairs and Maintenance budgets for Engineering
Perform daily checks around the hotel
Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required
Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotel
Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers
Maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations arise
Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs
Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses
Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Identify and introduce environmentally-friendly systems and equipment
Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the Engineering Department and take corrective action, as required, to improve equipment inventory, quality audit, productivity, and other objectives
Manage all Team Member related activities, including recruitment, performance management, training, career planning, disciplinary matters, and team motivation

A Finance Manager will lead the Finance department and associated operations such that account management, reporting, and interdepartmental and vendor relations are managed to optimise the hotels profitability
What will you be doing?
As Finance Manager, you will lead the Finance department and associated operations such that account management, reporting, and interdepartmental and vendor relations are managed to optimise the hotels profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible:
• Be responsible for the month-end closing and all other required management reports as per Hilton standards
• Take the lead in Forecast and Budget preparation with set timeline, work with the General Manager and Commercial Leader to provide full and accurate forecasting and budgeting proposals within the hotel
• Prepare accurate reporting for Owner and ad-hoc comments on operational performance
• Prepare capital reviews on regular basis
• Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures and continually review the process and procedures to maximize impact and efficiency
• Lead monthly finance update meetings with General Manager, assist Heads of the Department to improve their financial awareness and provide them with relevant financial information for their operations, so management can make correct commercial decisions
• Ensure the balance sheets are a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the hotels as per local legislation and company standards
• Be responsible for the month-end closing and all other required management reports as per Hilton standards
• Comply with hotel/company policies and procedures across the area, maximizing performance on the Finance Balanced Scorecard
• Ensure efficient cost control and proper follow up on regular basis
• Perform monthly payroll audits with HR before each salary payment
• Ensure the property is SOX compliant
• Show strong leadership focus for the direct reporting team including team development, empowerment and efficiency
• Conduct yearly performance reviews and consistent one-to-one meetings with the team members
• Ensure correct and efficient IT function at hotel as per Hilton standards
• Ensure adequate purchasing procedures
• Ensure correct and efficient Stores function at hotel as per Hilton standards
• Ensure that all licenses, permits, and insurance policies are current and are in compliance with local laws
• Monitor all contracts and agreements and advise hotel management of the terms, conditions and benefits
