Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure in Cloudera
Deploy, manage, maintain, and optimize Big-Data deployments to Public Cloud using Databricks, Qubole etc
Optimize query performance and tuning for jobs running on Spark, Impala, and Hive
Automate repetitive tasks by performing hands-on programming with Perl, Bash, and/or Python
Provide Operational Support and maximize Service availability by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issuesContinuously design, develop, and test web services
Work with cloud environment (AWS, Kubernetes)
Help drive the optimization, testing and tooling to improve software quality
Monitor AP/AR inbox, corresponding with both internal and external shareholders
Process supplier invoices from receipt via email or post, through our PO and Contract process. Query and follow up on necessary PO’s or invoices stuck in processing
Process employee’s expenses in line with UK T&E Policy
Process weekly payment runs for expenses, suppliers, one off ADHOC payments and review unapplied cash amounts, to allocate where applicable
Onboard new suppliers following the necessary due diligence processes
Post all incoming/outgoing cash for corporate bank accounts: GBP, USD, EUR; querying remittance with clients to allocate appropriately
Prepare month end reports specifically reconciliation of creditors and debtors’ ledger and bank accounts
Issue ADHOC Customer invoices and credit notes as necessary
Prepare weekly aged debt report showing current aging. Follow up on all items post 60 days
Ensure all invoices raised are sent out to the appropriate contacts
Send out current statements to customers as part of month end process
Network troubleshooting and fault analysis; hardware/software troubleshooting and repair

Apply state-of-the-art algorithms relying on knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization to develop new audience propensities & analytical data products or improve the performance/quality of existing audience propensities and data products
Build, evaluate and optimize models which incorporate machine learning and artificial intelligence
Be a thought leader and champion for adoption of new technologies and enable migration to new cloud based Machine Learning stack
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business goals and product economics, and identify relevant KPIs to assess product in-market performance
