You will travel mainly within Europe to drive practice efforts on site, attend trainings and meetings
You will be a part of McKinsey's Growth, Marketing and Sales Practice(GM&S), which is led by a diverse group of leaders, each with geographic, industry, and functional expertise and experience. Globally we are organized by region (North America, Europe, EEMA, Latam, AsiaX and China) and functional topic (Service lines: Marketing, Pricing, Product & Customer Experience, and Sales & Channel)
You will be a core member of the EMEA GM&S Practice operations team, providing and improving the administrative backbone support for the practice
In particular, you will be a core organizer for the annual GM&S EMEA practice conference, you will be coordinating the operations for our GM&S community and leaders including internal communications, performance management, hub events and distributions lists, among other things
You’ll drive the planning & execution of the annual EMEA GM&S conference working closely with practice consultants and leadership team. The conference brings together roughly 500 growth, marketing & sales practitioners from across Europe & EEMA to spend together 1,5 days sharing knowledge, building skills and connecting with each other. Tasks include conducting venue search and liaising with Optimize on contracting and hotel/venue communication, coordination of the comms and supporting multiple workstreams including invitation and sign-up processes, travel guidelines, event website and events app, serving as central team member for all logistics and liaison to content contributors, participants, and suppliers
You’ll steer local community building activities, for example support regional hub leaders for local community events (e.g., GE, UK, FR, MT, IB, SW, CE); may also work closely with 1-2 hubs on their priority initiatives/hub events. You’ll drive internal knowledge dissemination in EMEA by creating pipeline of content & working with content owners to build out newsletter. You’ll support other special initiatives for the practice to be defined depending on the candidate's background (e.g., support of the Gratitude Week, SLACK management, other)
You will build, improve and provide monthly and ad-hoc performance management reports for our leadership across hubs and sectors. You will support and prepare administrative practice tasks such keep up to date internal core databases and BOX libraries as go to reference and FAQ repository for the practice. You will automate and manage all GM&S practitioner/distribution lists for internal communications and community outreach. You will oversee and triage relevant GM&S inboxes e.g., websites, practice mailbox
