Obowiązki:
We are looking for a detail-oriented service manager to manage our service department and handle customer service interactions, reports, and repairs. The service manager's responsibilities include providing the highest level of customer service, developing lasting customer relationships, and managing the service team members. The service manager maintains a strong working knowledge of marine crane and deck equipment industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and services that are working in marine market
Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team's objectives and sales goals are met
Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers
Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory, ordering spare parts and tools required to complete the job
Setting up and maintaining a service desk and evaluating its efficiency, tacking service planner on daily basis
Monitoring department issues and client complaints to create methods to lessen recurring issues
Auditing work and customer service to ensure the company's high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met
Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives for project execution
Helping to train new employees in company procedures
Maintaining a strong working knowledge of marine crane and deck equipment industry, class society regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards , materials, tools, and processes
To be successful as a service manager, you should display a strong sales-minded attitude as well as excellent leadership skills. You should also have the ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and third-party vendors
Responsible for overseeing tenders, offers, design and engineering for given discipline
Provide Project Management and engineering support for offshore crane repairs, refurbishment, operation and maintenance
Provide technical and fault-finding support for electrical and PLC systems
Develop and assist with review of PLC specifications and logic tables
Preparation of PLC documentation and certification packages
Preparation of PLC logic flow/process charts for fault finding purposes
Preparation of Factory Acceptance Test procedures, running FAT with client witness
Retrieval of PLC programming code from existing PLC systems for the purpose of reverse engineering or upgrading
Engineering design related to electrical and PLC systems for offshore cranes and lifting equipment
Preparation of workpacks and other documentation
Project management activities including all technical and commercial aspects of projects
Undertake offshore and onshore surveys and project workscopes
Familiarisation with client’s and companies HSEQ policies and procedures
Familiarisation with client’s and company Safety policy and the Safety Management System
To identify safe and environmentally sound methods of work and systems which identify hazards at each place of work
Be familiar with relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidance notes and good industry practice
Plan, organise and document client work processes to deliver the required standard with minimum risk to personnel, plant, materials and the environment
Give company personnel and subcontractors precise instruction in order to implement safe methods of work and pre-defined communication lines between client and company
Encourage personnel engaged on project/contract to develop an acceptable safety and environmental culture, which encourages near miss and accident reporting
To act immediately on any breach of company rules which come to attention and where required report to line manager in relation to those breaches
To be alert to any inadequacies of the effectiveness of the management system and to bring such inadequacies to the attention of line management
