Senior Financial Accountant
This role will be based out of our Poland site, working within the finance team. For this role you will need to come with at least 3 years’ experience of working within the financial accounting department of SME business, where you will be used to managing and maintaining the running of General Finance Reporting monthly activities
The ideal candidate will be that cross functional team player that has a passion for finance and accounting. Someone who has the depth of knowledge to work as an accountant in a Polish company that is part of the EMEA region, whilst working to strict deadlines, with the level of accuracy and confidentiality needed for this role
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
I. Responsibilities at the Polish Company:
-Self-management accounting of the entity in Poland
-Accounting area: posting of documents; preparation of tax returns to the tax
office (CIT,TPR-C); monitoring the general ledger; sales ledger purchases ledger, payments; JPK-VAT report, VAT UE; calculation of income tax;
-Reporting area: Group reporting, Central Statistical Office (GUS), preparation of the financial statements, balance sheet reconciliation and 13-week cashflow forecast
-Cooperation with an external payroll office
II. Responsibilities at the Germany Company:
-Contact with Polish customers, control of receivables, clarification of payment discrepancies, posting of customer payments, unblocking of orders
This role will be part of our amazing Marketing Team, located at our state of the art offices based in Srem (the role is partly home-office/office based). This team really does go above and beyond to conduct great marketing activities. You would be working on marketing initiatives such as events, campaigns, instore etc. and work closely with distributors
The ideal candidate will be able to co-build, execute and measure results of marketing plans for the region, following company strategy, monitoring the markets and constantly changing environment. This would require strong cooperation with Marketing Team, our Partners and external agencies on a daily basis
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager to lead the growth of budgeted sales and contribution and achieve key sales & marketing goals in the region
• Co-develop, execute, measure and track strategic and tactical annual marketing initiatives (incl. consumer and customer marketing activities i.e. trade event, online campaigns, instore presence etc.)
• Spread strategy (incl. NPDs), best practises and brand excitement in the region
• Coordinate brand websites content
• Be an expert of distributor countries
• Close cooperation with other departments (Marketing, Sales etc.), external agencies and distributors
• Assist respective departments with the creation of marketing materials
