As a Category Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing product/portfolio strategies for biological solutions, life cycle management among crops. This role is anchored in understanding customer needs and regional asset strategies to drive sales, market share, and profit margins for the designated products. You will be instrumental in developing tactical implementations of marketing plans, product positioning, and demand planning for both new product launches and existing offerings
Your Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough analyses of diverse market segments, gather grower insights, synthesize product feedback, and assess competitive dynamics to discern market trends, identify threats, unearth new business prospects, and effectively address customer needs
• Devise and implement holistic product strategies that encompass project scheduling, price evolutions, label extensions, and opportunities for licensing-in. This will entail close collaboration with European Product Managers, aligning with regional business strategies
• Lead cross-functional Local Product Concept Teams, providing leadership to define new project requisites, construct compelling business cases, articulate strategic priorities, delineate product attributes, shape value propositions, and craft persuasive sales arguments
• Formulate regionally-aligned product pricing strategies, underpinned by insights from market research and projected demand
• Deliver annual marketing plans for the designated products, vigilantly tracking their performance against established benchmarks (prices and volumes vs. purchase orders), conducting stage reviews, probing significant deviations, and proposing corrective measures when needed

The Biologicals Market Developer is a Biostimulant market expert in a country or a cluster of countries. As the marketing and commercial support to the sales teams in the area, they help synthetize the technical information from the Biologicals Agronomy Manager and turns it into a marketing and commercial program to present to the customers
Your daily mission is to support the Corteva sales team with marketing, commercial and technical assistance with customers. Corteva sales team brings the customer intimacy and trust relationship when the BMD brings the technical credit on a different Biologicals market
You will help the teams ramp up on a different commercial approach: in demand creation and training at the customer and farmer level. You will be accountable for the sales on the territory and assists and train the Corteva sales teams with key customer meetings, referencing new products and supporting both Sell in and Sell Out activities
Key Responsibilities
Rolling out the Marketing strategy, voice of the customer for the LPCT
• In coordination with the Biologicals Product Manager (or Biologicals Category Marketing Manager) and the Biologicals Customer Agronomist, build a product/customer segmentation strategy
• Rolls out the new products and helps organizing the Customer endorsement plan (demos and animation)
• Helps on the bottom-up marketing plan and budget requirements for a correct Customer Demand Generation
• Active survey of local competitors to inform the LPCT and marketing team: this business is highly fragmented; a lot of the market knowledge is in the field
Supporting the Sell-in
• First sell-in consists in supporting the sales team and getting their buy-in on the range of products
• Active support to the Corteva sales teams during the key meetings with key customers:
o New products / project reviews
o Campaign kickoff meetings
o Mid-season and End-season assessments and meetings
• Supporting Customers (Dealers and Distributors) sales teams with trainings before/during the selling season
Supporting the Sell-out
• During the season, prepare the Demo Trials Plan, to be implemented by the CORTEVA´s commercial team to implement at farmer level together with customer (Distributors and Dealers) support: collecting intermediate assessments and value them to the Distributor
• Support the distributors with regular coaching, training and follow up on farm promotional exercise with key Distributors
• Ensure knowledge transfer on biologicals portfolio to Customer teams. Assists in the implementation of customer needs regarding biological questions
Internal promotion of the Biologicals
• Build an internal network with Corteva Crop Protection teams: Sales teams, Management teams and marketing teams to ensure a “Biologicals awareness.”
• Ensure good integration of the Biocontrol products into the Crop Protection Spray programs
• Active internal survey of local Crop Protection Gaps and Needs to be filled with new Biocontrol portfolio
• Collect competitor’s portfolio information to help the teams know the local business
Sales planning, forecast and budget
• Give input on monthly basis to the Biologicals Marketing and management teams on the sellout, the market information to help participating to the Demand Reviews
• Help Crop Protection teams in their monthly forecast
• Based on customer information, actively participate to the Budgeting process for Biologicals in given territory
• Is accountable to reach the budget / with regular reporting to the Biologicals Management team
Responsible for sales and growth of the area for SEEDS and CROP PROTECTION business in the South - East region of Poland
Managing existing and new customer and business partners’ relationships (farmers and distributors)
Coordinates and controls the daily activity of the sales promoters
In charge of the area sales strategy elaboration, resources deployment and alignment with the overall Country and marketing strategy
In charge to deliver the agreed marketing strategy and plan
In charge to ensure customer and business partner win-win partnership to ensure company success
Collaborate effectively with the CTS and overall Marketing team, understanding their common targets and priorities working efficiently on leveraging available CPP & Seeds solutions
The Area Sales Manager reports to the Country Sales Manager
Ensure that the financial accounting and reporting of all legal entities in the country is in compliance with statutory and corporate policies:
Compliance with Local and US Accounting Standards,
Timely closing and reporting for both local and group accounts
Ensure an effective and efficient control environment in line with Internal Control Standards Manual
Managing relationships with external auditors and well as internal audit for finance and internal control related matters
Responsible for the direct supervision of local controllership team and provide required functional guidance
Provide indirect oversight and act as liaison between the local organizations and Service Centers for all the Record-to-Report processes
Maintain and improve accounting processes
Maintain sound understanding of local entities underlying business and external regulatory environment to ensure continued adequacy of accounting treatments and effectiveness of control environment
Represent Finance in all matters related to Country Financials, Internal Controls, and governance and, for this, link as appropriate with all other Finance Competencies operating remotely
Coordinate and provide necessary support in case of external tax audits. In absence of an established Internal Tax function in the country, this may entail engaging and representing the Company with Tax Authorities
In the absence of an established internal Legal function in the country, coordinate with internal legal counsel in the review of legal cases and connect with external counsel, when required, to secure the legal position of the legal entities
As part of Local Leadership to establish, steer and review the critical aspects of the overall site and country strategy, to enhance internal and external competitiveness and visibility
Provide as part of Local Leadership ongoing tone at the top within local organization on Core Values and Internal Controls and ensure that appropriate governance structure is in place to allow an adequate control environment
Provide necessary support on communication and interactions with local works council organizations
The Country Controller is the Controllership interface into Country/Site Leadership and External Authorities (incl. External Auditors)
As integral part of this role, the Country Controller works directly with the local organizations (Functions, Businesses and Local Leadership) on all matters relative to the financial statements of the entities in the country and acts as the steward of internal controls in all areas. Regarding the business segments reporting within the legal entity financial statements, Country Controllers are placing reliance on business specific accounting/reporting guidance and validations performed by Business Controllers

Work with Corteva business and IT to document the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and map to existing and new business technology solutions
Facilitate as-is and to-be workshops with process owners and stakeholders
Identify standardization and simplification opportunities and emerging requirements for improving business processes
As needed, translates business needs into specific business requirements. Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate business requirements into functional / technical requirements
