Manages marketing assets through back-end tools across multiple platforms - including site, mobile, and email on site promotions: email, banner placements (email & site), navigation updates;
Build out email creation files for Daily Emails: assets, links, dates, etc;
Curate Inventory for Daily Emails and site collections: Pull persona IDs and tags / Tag inventor
Build audiences/update Tetris based on CRM provided details;
Build incentives based on CRM provided details;
Build out vertical site and email landing pages;
Submit Freshdesk tickets for Campaigns;
Create grids for events and ensure completion;
Build out promos in Incentive Service;
Cross reference deals planned for Deal of the Day campaigns against deals submitted in the loader ADA Push images and taglines;
Build paid mobile campaigns to drive app downloads and increase Groupon’s app customer base and engagement. Work with the Mobile team to deliver programs which will drive growth across paid and organic;
Optimise campaigns directly in Facebook, Google, Apple and various other platforms, ensuring budget efficiency and KPI realisation;
Work with your stakeholders to facilitate all analysis and measurement reporting required;
Ensure maximum operational accuracy and financial efficiency for mobile app install campaigns;
Be accountable to the business for day to day operational activity, efficiency and spend allocation;
Work closely with other Marketing Teams to execute on cross department initiatives;

Managing existing Enterprise accounts to cement long-term partnerships and to create campaigns that Groupon’s customers love, help these accounts to meet their strategic goals, while also meeting the commercial requirements of Groupon
Constructing and negotiating offers which meet the expectations of Groupon, merchants and the Customer
Educating merchants on how Groupon works and how they can maximize the opportunity post feature
Demonstrating a thorough understanding of your merchants’ business and adopts a consultative sales approach
Extensive understanding of seasonality and when is the best time to feature merchants
Demonstrating understanding of market trends and social media hot topics
Actively carrying out research on core industry sectors that are being prospected
Investigation and resolution of suspected instances of consumer fraud such as the use of stolen credit cards, account takeovers, fraudulent generation of referral credit, or disingenuous complaints
Effectively analyze common patterns of suspicious behavior to prevent future unauthorized activities
Responsible for all consumer and internal claims that cannot be resolved by Merchant Escalation Specialists, Customer Service Representatives, or Customer Service Managers, or which exceed financial thresholds or situations that could lead to legal or PR involvement

Develops familiarity with each merchant’s business, including but not limited to: products and/or services, consumer demographics, consumer ratings, points of competitive differentiation, merchant economic model, and revenue/profit drivers
Utilizes knowledge of deal structure and strategy to reach Groupon’s and merchants’ desired outcomes and maximize profit
Takes ownership of the contract negotiation process, dealing with margins, discounts, and other critical elements
Drives market growth for both quality of merchants and revenue to support merchant retention - this leads to creating packages that delight Groupon subscribers alike
Playing a key role in driving new business and maintaining existing business relationships - giving the travel category the opportunity to open new markets and penetrate deeper into existing markets and accounts
Support and drive decision making through analytics, working with Sales Ops project managers to analyze the efficiencies of new tools and processes, and report on sales initiatives
Develop and maintain standardized and centrally managed sales performance reports, making use of advance data/reporting tools and systems (SQL, excel)
Provide the ongoing support to sales teams to ensure the efficient adoption of reports and drive performance on various KPIs
Provide analytical insight on sales performance to identify root causes and influence the direction of sales strategy and priorities
Partner with cross-functional teams to define, develop and maintain financial and non- financial KPIs
Proactively identify gaps and errors in data and reporting and work towards improving those areas
Operationalize new rollouts and provide analytical support in detail to requests from countries
Inventory live - check location performance, deals type performance and input to optimization
Execute gap analysis to assortment plan (monthly & quarterly) to ensure alignment and adoption in line with business targets
Provide a feedback loop to stakeholders across the business that facilitates actions that will reduce friction and waste in the supply funnel and drive improved topline performance of the business
